ORA Coral Plugs are the result of 7 years of design modifications intended to create the ultimate coral plug for our culture systems. They are made form Delrin® Acetal plastic which makes them negatively bouyant and non-porous. Their smooth sides make algae removal a breeze while the textured head allows the coral to grip the surface as it grows. They are designed to fit tightly into 1/2″ x 1/2″ x 1/2″ egg crate material for extremely high flow environments. Our coral plugs are made in the USA!
ORA Coral Plugs are produced in black, white, purple and blue. The black plugs are used exclusively by ORA and feature the ORA letters on the top of the plug. White and purple are used by our Marshall Islands and Micronesian farmers. The blue color is available for sale to our wholesale customers.
