The ORA Bird of Paradise is the most spectacular strain of Seriatopora coral we culture. It has an electric green base with metallic purple polyps. Often, the purple polyps are so well extended that just a glimpse of green can be seen through the swaying polyps. Increasing flow slightly can retract the polyps just enough to see the electric green base while still keeping a healthy specimen. The thick and dense skeletal structure is almost porcelain like and tends to shatter during propagation. The ORA Bird of Paradise looks best under higher Kelvin lighting.
