Lavender Stag is a tree shaped branching acropora with long slender branches. The coloration of this delicate staghorn is similar to that of the Miami Orchid, having vivid pinkish purple branch tips on a tan base. Terminal corallites have white polyps that extend ½ inch at night giving this normally smooth coral a totally different appearance.
