The Naked Cinnamon is a stripeless variant of the Cinnamon clownfish that originates from the Coral Sea. Like the Fire Clownfish, Naked Cinnamon juveniles have thin white lines on their heads. As they mature, Naked Cinnamons lose their head bars and develop completely black flanks and pelvic fins, while retaining red coloration on their head, abdomen and unpaired fins. Naked Cinnamons exhibit a more scarlet red coloration compared to the candy red of the Fire Clownfish.
Naked Cinnamons share the same bold temperament as others in the Tomato complex. They are a hardy species and can reach a maximum size of around 4 inches.
