As the often under appreciated cousin to the Pajama Cardinal, what the ORA Orbic Cardinal lacks in stunning colors it makes up for with extreme resilience. This fish is one of the hardiest members of the cardinalfish family. Naturally found in coastal areas throughout the Indo Pacific region, loosely congregated in groups hovering in caves and overhangs. Growing up to 4” in the aquarium, it will develop a distinct black belt across its silvery midsection with a scattered cluster of dark spots near the tail. Mostly active during the evening, this fish will vigorously eat all types of prepared aquarium foods. A great fish for the beginning marine hobbyist.
